True or False, if you are switching to a different wine in your glass, it’s best to swirl some water in the glass first.
False – Water will actually dilute your wine, and isn’t very effective at rinsing out the flavors of your last wine. Instead, pour a small bit of the new wine into your glass, swirl it around and dump it. Then pour yourself a glass of the new wine. This can be a great thing to do if you are tasting several wines and don’t have a lot of glasses.
